What are the specifics of formal attire for the wedding day?
Formal Black Tie Optional.
Is it advisable to rent a car for my stay?
Florence area is well connected with public transport and taxi. If you choose to rent a car, please inquire with the rental company about ZTL zones to avoid fines. These areas restrict access to non-residents, and driving in them may result in penalties.
Do I need an international driving license to rent a car?
Non-EU licences are valid only for visitors, and an International Driving Permit is requested. Please check here for more info: https://internationaldrivingpermit.org/country/italy/
Are there private transfer options available?
Yes, there are private transfer services you can book in advance. Please visit the "Getting There" page for details. We recommend securing your private transfers ahead of time. Please note that taxi services are very limited in the area, and it is crucial to book in advance to ensure availability.
Do I need to obtain a visa to travel to Italy?
For US citizens: Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months post-travel and have several empty pages. If you need to apply for a passport, or renew it, please do it sooner than later, as rush fee can be costly.
